I just bought a PA-63 Will other makarov mags work in a PA-63 or only a PA-63 mag. They look a little different from other makarovs thanks

Do you mean a Makarov P-64?

I believe only P-64 mags will work in them to my knowledge

Makarov mags will not work in a PA-63, the mak uses a heel mag release while the pa-63 uses a button.

The PA-63 ISN'T a Makarov... it is a semi-clone of a Walther PP that happens to be in 9mm Makarov caliber.

I have one that is an accurate shooter, however it hammers the web of my hand and is NOT pleasant to shoot for an extended number of rounds.

Might be different but my cousin put a Wolff spring in his Mak and it softened it up considerably.
