Saw an ad for these guys in newest Shotgun News: http://www.ziegeleng.com/

Ziegel Engineering and they're offering aluminum cases, but cases aren't listed on their website. Anyone know anything about them or tried their stuff?

I've heard of people reloading blazer aluminum cased stuff. They say its only good for one loading I think I read that it usually splits too

blazer uses berdan primers specifically so people don't reload it.

I remember someone saying that. Somehow I got it in my head that a company was making aluminum cases for reloading to save money....like using steel cases or making your own blazer type ammo.

BTW, any company offering loadable steel cases?

O.S.O.K.

I've never seen them offered as reloading components, no. I have seen articles about reloading steel cases - it can be done and does work but certainly not as well as brass. Think it was 45 ACP Wolf cases that I read about.

AFAIAC, this is something you resort to in "hard times".

I get what yer saying OSOK. But I think it'd be decent idea to get brand new steel or alum cases for like competitions or whatever so you don't have to worry about losing any brass. Kinda like what Hornady is doing now with its new steel "match" ammo.
