Scope Mount for 91/30

When I called to order the second type 53, I asked SOG if they had any barrelled actions for a project gun and they had some 91/30s I went ahead and picked one up, the metal/bore/etc are in good shape, stock is ok. My plan is to make a hunting rifle (hog gun) out of it, so I plan on putting a different stock, a scope mount, etc. I saw the "Leapers UTG Mosin Nagant tactical tri rails scount mount" at Cheaper than Dirt, there are some reviews that sound favorable, but wondered if any of you have used this? If I am going to use it for hogs, the this rail in theory would get me a scope and a light on the rifle, I would think. What length scope would I be able to get away with and still have eye relief

I've got a Darrel's Scout Mount some where that I tried on a few U-Fix'em 91/30s that were missing their front sights. It replaces the rear sight and allows mounting a LER pistol scope. It works pretty well but the biggest issue I had was getting the mount level with the receiver before mounting the scope. If it's not level it's a bitch to get enough adjustment out of the scope to get it zeroed.

Still, the LER scope let's you get on target pretty fast and you might be able to adapt it to a red dot type sight. Not sure where you can get one at the moment but a search might turn up something.

What the hell, I went ahead and ordered one, once it and the stock get here and I put it all together, I will let you know what I think
