My camera went belly up so I am unable to take pictures.....darn thing has issues with communicating with my PC.

talk about going through hell to get it, it just had to dump like 6 inches of snow that saturday night....and to top it off the assholes that are responsible for clearing the snow off the interstate, took their sweet ass time about clearing the interstate....but I did get it. this puppy is 98% looks as if the guy hardly fired it, which is nice.

just bought a SVD pouch from russia using the BUY IT NOW on e-bay, for 28.00 delivered.

I don't know what kind of ammo I got with it but it's the surplus stuff copper cased, in a tin can, some have yellow tips.

that ammo will be fine for everyday shooting im sure. i have been told that the heavier grain stuff is hard on the SVDs but i shot about 300 rounds through mine with no problem, before hearing about wolf 148gr ammo that was made specifically for SVDs and ROMAK III's. once i bought the wolf i was amazed at the accuracy that the rifle provided... i was shooting 2-3 inch groups with my old surplus and since the wolf im sub-MOA, unless i screw up.
i have also shot some of the Czech silver tip ammo im was told when i bought it it was sniper ammo, im not sure if its true but i can hit paper plates at 300 yds all day with that ammo

SFC, have you shot your tigr yet?

no haven't shot it yet......I was looking for the ammo that is stamped 7N or 7N1, I read somewhere that these are dragunov rounds, and not available, becasue the russians won't export them.... but I find that a little bit hard to believe...everything from russia is up for sale, including their gov't....but I have no use for a useless item like that :D.

now correct me if I'm wrong.....and I probably am....but wouldn't a heavier round like the S&B 180 gr. would be more accurate. my figuring is that the heavier the bullet the better the flight...or am I way off on that theory? becuse of the twist 1/10?

you are right about the twist,Ugly Finn says it should be about a 128 grain bullet, If you find some7n,7n1 let me know!!!

actually i think the 7N and 7N1 round are supposed to be about 145 grain... that is the reason i recommended the wolf 148 grain ammo. i hear that ammo was specifically made to help the drag / Psl owners with ammo selection

thanks guys....I'll take your advice and go with the wolf 148 grain ammo. but somewhere in the states, there is 7N ammo.....I just can't believe that with all the ammo russia imports this wouldn't be one of them.

I have a few cans (440 rounds per can) of the 7N1....and about thirty 10-round mags. If I can get more what would be a good price for this stuff. I saw some crazy guy selling the 7N1 for $12.50 per round. Can we say CROOK! Anyhow your comments would be helpful and appreicated.
