Back in the 50's, I kinda remember Ithica marketing a .22 that was a Win 94 style. Need help in remembering the mod #.

Also, does anyone know of the Win 94 coming in two different size frames?
Thanks, Dan

Dan, the only .22 caliber lever rifles I know Ithaca offer were first the Model 49 Saddlegun (http://www.ithacagun.com/news/history/model49.shtml) (single-shot) from about 1961-1978 and the Model 49R (http://www.ithacagun.com/news/history/model49r.shtml) (repeater) from about 1965-1971. The Model 49 used a Martini-style action. These were offered in either .22LR or .22 Mag.

Then in about 1973 until about 1978 Ithaca began selling the Model 72 that was actually manufactured by Erma-Werke from Germany. This was a copy of the Winchester Model 94. The Model 72 chambered in .22 LR would be the same as the Erma-Werke Model EG-712 and the Model 72 chambered in .22 Mag. was the same as the Erma-Werke Model 73. Hope this helps!

As for the frame size on the Winchester Model 1894/94 I'm only aware of one size no matter the caliber. Barrel & magazine have varied but not the frame size.
