Some of you guys have ordered their Yukon spotting scope.

Did the scope come with the detachable sighting device??

Are you happy with the scope??

Thanks for your help.

I like mine...................... I never use the sighting device. Bang for the buck I don't think you can go wrong. Of course there's better.... but they are more expensive. I've been very pleased with mine and many folks on this board have one.

But did you get the sighting device from kalinkaoptics??
They tell me that it doesn't come with the scope. Is that true or is the women on the phone uninformed?

The sighting device is that little black plastic thing sticking up on the rear part of the upper portion of the scope.

This is how it looks when pushed down in place.

I never use it but it does come with the scope. It's just a little piece of plastic. I got mine from the Night vision store.

I went to kalinkaoptics and could not find this scope...... But this is the one that many here have.

kalinkaoptics is selling them for $76.94.

My question is to those guys who ordered it from them (kalinkaoptics) - did it come with the sighting device???

Flackjacket - thanks for the info. I do want one of these - I just want to get the sighting device with it. On kalinkaoptics website it doesn't show it and the telephone operator says it doesn't come with their scope.

Is that $76.94 with the window mount and tri-pod?

That is a sighting device... Damb, I put it on mine and I never really knew what it was for... I have had mine for a while and I like it... If something goes wrong at teh range and it gets destroyed or stolen I am not out very much... They should come standard with the scope, a tripod, and a window mount... Oh yeah and that little sighting thing ;)

Flackjacket -

That's $76.94 with the tripod only - no window mount and apparently no sighting device.

Now, what to do???

Do I need a sighting device? Do you guys use it?
