Anyone shot a converted (reg. configuration) saiga in .308? Figure its probably pretty close to the PSL in accuracy. With the rpk rec/trunion and heavier barrel might even due a lil better. Set up w/ a 3-4lb trigger, recrowned 22" barrel, brake, and maybe semi free float barrel the thing should really perform. Figue there is some ammo advantage to the .308 as far as handloads go. Whattya think?

My regular Saiga .308 will out shoot my Romak3. Using hand loads in the Saiga and milsurp in the Romak3.

Just think how crappy the saigas trigger is too. I think there is a lot of promise in this set up. Ill build one as described as soon as I finish my other saigas and sell my FAL.

It's not too bad but can use improvement.

But me personally I like the traditional rifle stock on my Saiga's(7.62X39 and .308). So I'll leave mine as they are.

Also when I get some loads made up for my Romak3 that'll be the real test. Since all I've shot through it is Russian copper washed surplus ammo.
