What is your experence with the Stechkin?
Is it reliable?
Accurate?
Does it have a high rate of fire?

The pistol Stechkin (APS) is a very good weapon. I have used it per 1984-86 years very much. Very precise and very reliable. It has semi and full fire. It can be used up to 200 meters. This weapon is not made now. But it the weapon has very large authority. The most elite special services in Russia have it in the inventory today.
I think it there was a large error - deleting of this pistol from arms of army. It was good weapon for forces special-purpose armies.
There is as a special model with the device for a decrease of a sound of an outrigger boom. It was very popular in Afghanistan.

is it hard to control in full auto without the stock? that is one reason i heard that it was taken from service.
