other than the fact that it is hard to find and a bitch to install,
why can we not do it. what law says NO!
i thought the law read " only two (2) of the following:
PITOL GRIP
HIGH CAP MAG
FLASH HIDER
BAYONET LUG"
what am i missing?
is it the mag because it extends below the receiver even though it is not high cap?

922(r) and 925(d)- basicley it states that rifles imported after 1989 shall be suitable for sporting purposes and not in military configuration. So the Tiger would not have been allowed to be imported with a FH as it has no sporting purpose. However a domestic rifle could have a FH as long as it met the required evil feature count. Now if you were to replace enough parts on the Tiger with US made parts so that the rifle is now cosidered to be a US made rifle then a FH might be legal. I think that is the reason why www.Dragunov.com is trying to manufacture US parts for the SVD. So enough of them can be replaced so the rifle can be classified as a dometicly built gun.
