is my Maadi pre-ban?

The only number on the reciever is

CM 08142

the other side says

Importer CAI St Alb. VT

is the constuction of the reciever cover, selector lever, bolt carrier, sloppy? if so it is a post 89 gun. beyond that i would have no clue as to wether it is a post-Klinton or not.

Are there any markings on the rear sight block?

I have a Maadi Ak, that says imported by CAI St. on right bottom of receiver directly underneath the bolt carrier. On the left side of the rear sight block is

MISR S/A (AKM)
CAL 7.62x39 MM

The Egyptian Army inspection certificate that came with it says that it was inspected in Cairo in 1997, for whatever that is worth.

The serial # is CM00529

My 2 cents worth. Century Arms International only imported post ban receivers Misr's are parts guns made from Maddi receivers and Chiness parts. Pre ban Massis were Stery-Damiler Puch. or can't remember the other they quit years ago also pre banshave all regular Ak stocks muzzle flash suppersors etc. My 2cents worth.

The rear sight block that the gas piston goes through and the rear sight is setting on. On the left side is there a number stamped there? Is MISR stamped there?
