386 stamping

I have a 7.62X39 hunting rifle that uses AK47 internal, but the receiver is not the standard size. It has a 386 with a circle stamped around it. There is also 7.62X39 and Made in China stamp on it as well. The person I did a trade on this says it is an AK 47, but when I tried putting one of those mak 90 druganovs on it, the trigger is not standard. Meaning the guard looks weird, as well as the trigger itself. The receiver is milled though, and I think it can be consistent as far as the shot groups are concerned. However I would like to have a more ergonomic trigger, as the trigger pull is pretty far for my hands comfort wise, even for a full sized grown man hand, which I do not have. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it....

You have an AK Hunter.
Nice rifle but there is little that you can do to it.
TAPCO does sell some parts for it including a spare trigger group parts set.
It does have a very long trigger reach which can be a bitch for those with small hands.
It is not a AK as your friend has said. More of a hunting rifle with the toughnest of the AK.
