.....I'm desperately searching for the proper spike-type bayonet for my pre-ban Poly. Does anyone know where I can get one? You know the feeling you get when a gun just isn't complete? It's so bad right now that my GF is willing to front the cash for it...price no option (within reason). All help duly appreciated and I hope to return the service.

U can try Kengs in Atlanta GA. They used to carry all of the POLYTECH stuff. Good luck

Hi Spleen,

Global Trades sells those spike bayonets kits for your poly-tech. They cost around $35 and come complete with frontsight/mount

Thanks everyone for the responses... Now another question: Does this type of Bayonet interfere with an attached muzzle brake or flash-hider? I'm assuming it extends like an SKS or Mosin-Nagant bayo. I have the slant brake attached, but I also have a chinese flash-hider.

I have a VORTEX on mine and the spike clears it *barely* But clears it nontheless.

Well, I finally got the proper bayonet for the Poly. Now I feel complete. **sigh of relief** It's too bad the bayo doesn't quite fit more flush within the lower handguard, because now it feels funny while grasping the front handguard. Makes the front-end look completely E-V-I-L!!!!!! Will post pics when I get this roll developed (still not living in the digital-imaging world).

Thanks for the info everyone...This site makes a world of difference for us closet gun-lovers. http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif
