Help IDing age of rifle

I have a MAK90, I know it is a poly, it has the oval 386 stamp, but I am unsure of when it was imported. I have seen some ppl ref. the ser. no. to tell this, mine is 35717. Does this tell anyone anything? Thanks in advance!

Your rifle was imported in 1990 otherwise the serial number would have a 91,92,93,or 94 prefix.
