will the FPK SSG mag work in a TIGER SVD?

I am guessing that it won't.......but for my own sake of curiosity, does anybody who has a TIGER able to use a SSG mag in it and it worked?

Nope, won't fit. There is a guy on ebay right now trying to pass these mags off as SVD mags. I've emailed him to tell him they will only fit the PSL but he didn't change the ad. Dave Fortier wrote a nice article in SGN on how to modify them, it's in the Treasury issue. You need to weld on new tabs and cut a little metal.

You are right on target! I noticed the same ad. The Romanian mags are not the same, always look for the magazine bunps on both sides, located on the forward part of the mag. It's a dead giveaway as to which one is which.

By the way the Romanian mags were $29 each at one time.
