Sorry not legal. If someone already had one it's totally legal to posess but not legal to buy new ones or import them into the state.

Maybe I should clarify that. I'm not a lawyer but as I understand the law, the ROMAK-3/SSG-97 is a Kalashnikov variant and is not legal. The Dragunov is not specifically prohibited but it is forbidden because of its features (detachable mag+thumbhole stock). Technically it would be possible to buy or import a Dragunov if the seller removed the buttstock. I'm not 100% certain about this but that's how it looks to me. The buyer would be prohibited from ever putting on that buttstock. In the case of the NDM-86 or SVD (not Tiger) the flash hider and bayonet lug would also have to be removed (or at least one of them).

Well, since the Dragunov is not a Kalashnikov design it shouldn't be banned as a variant. Aren't there 2 bans where rifles might fall under? As I read one was for rifles listed by name and one for evil features. The Drag is certainly not anything like an AK but it will have too many bad features because of its magazine.
