I have a post Polytech. I put in a RPB trigger group to make the p-grip legal. The RPB trigger sucked so I put the Chinese trigger back in, left in the RPB hammer/secondary sear and went with Mag followers and floorplates to be legal. The Chinese trigger is great but I've got a slight problem. If I hold the trigger back after a shot and then let it off slowly, the primary sear does not come up fast enough and I get an unpleasant suprise. If I let the trigger out quickly, every thing is ok. I took the receiver cover off and could see what was happening but do not know what to do to fix it . It seems that no matter what speed you release a trigger you shouldn't have an accidental firing. Anybody had this problem ? I have not done any sort of filing or modification of the trigger or sear. Thanks in advance.

Is it firing after you release the trigger or before, sounds like the trigger ears are not catching the hammer after the Semi-Auto catch releases afer you let go of the trigger. You can alway get less trigger pull distance out of the US parts kit by filing the hooks on the trigger but make sure they will still catch the hammer after you relasease the trigger other wise you will have the problem you are having.

Bryant Thank you for the help. I replaced the Chicom trigger with the USA and it solved the problem. If you would, please give some direction on filing the USA trigger (method, type of file etc.). Your are right, I don't want the same problem but would like to improve the pull. Thanks for your help.
