I have a Polytech underfolder w/spike bayonet in unfired condtion. Came in white Polytech box w/ matching serial # on the box label, the factory owner's manual and has all listed accessories inside the box in the styrofoam inserts, including 3-30rnd mags w/chromed followers and stamped "POLY/CHINA" on the floor plate.
Has on left side of receiver near trunion block area, 386 in an oval and CF-1017x. Directly below, under what looks to be a rivet, is "AKS-762". Under that is "7.62x39mm" and under that is "SEMI-AUTO".
Near the rear of the receiver on the same left side is "POLY TECHNOLOGIES".
On the bottom of the receiver in front of the mag well is "KFS" "ATLANTA, GA" "MADE IN CHINA" in 3 separate lines.
Upon removing the top cover to the receiver, the serial # is again visible on the left side of the bolt carrier (1017x).
It has beautiful blonde wood with a checkered pistol grip, the spike underfolder bayonet, and a threaded muzzle w/muzzle nut in place.
I believe it to be unfired and appears so, and is in absolutely mint condition and came w/approximately 500rnds of copper colored ammo in the "sardine style" ammo can w/10rnds on each stripper clip wrapped neatly in brown paper. Headstamp is "31" on top and "78" on bottom.
I have 3 questions for any/all RKI's:
1. Is this a milled or stamped receiver?
2. Is this a standard underfolder or a "Polytech Legend Underfolder"?
3. Is this ammo the Norinco steel core/AP of mythical proportions?
Thanks for reading and any information you may be able to lend,
