I see a lot of Swiss bayonets on EBAY but I am not sure which ones will fit my K31. Will the 1889 fit ?

they may not fit the K31 .......unless it is a Model 1889/18 Bayonet, those where converted from 1889 bayonets......

"these bayonets (89/18) were converted from Model 1889 bayonets in the early 1940s. In addition to having a rivet added to the fuller, in at least some bayonets had a bushing added to the muzzle ring, in order to fit the carbine barrels. "

I have a 1918 bayonet that was made for the k11 and K31. I would buy a 1918 model.

Either of these will work. The big one is called the Pioneer Bayonet and the bottom shorter one is like SFC ret posted the 1918 patern.

Thanks guys

I would love a Pioneer but it is a bit out of my budget.
I will see if I can find a 1918 to go with my other accessories.

I would love to have a bayonet for my K31. A rifle w/o a bayonet just looks un-natural
