Which Poly-Tech to get?? Please Help!

I'm new to AK's, been following the info on these boards for awhile, it's great! Decided it was time for my AR to have a big brother.

Here are the 2 choices out of about 10 that I narrowed it down to:

1. Preban 90-95% $850 with bayonet and 3 mags.
Poly-Tech AKS 762 PW85-762-070XX Has triangle stamp with 2 right angle triangles opposed inside, imported by KFS. Furniture is beautiful.

2. Postban 90% $650 with 3 mags.
Poly-Tech AKS-762 CW139XX Has 386 inside of a circle, added on stamp of SP, imported by KFS. Has the Fiberforce stock.

Both rifles are 16" and have ridges on the barrels. Which is the best deal? Should I stay away from one or the other?
I'm in love, but which one? (And I'm NOT in PRK)

For $200 difference get the preban! You can do so much more with them, change the funriture without worrying about some bs law, changes muzzlebrakes and flashsuppressors out in about twenty seconds, and lets not forget that all important bayonet! http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif

But, is this a good deal??? I've checked around where I live and AK's are few and far between, should I try to find a better deal?

I just paid $800. for a pre-ban polytech AKS imported from KFS that is 98% but only got 2- 30 round mags. So that price sounds right. Go for the Pre-ban. It shoots great.Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Got the preban! Paid $750 for it with the goodies and 5 loaded mags. One sweet rifle, I put 300 rds. through it without any problems.

$750.00 for the pre-ban? Good deal! I know the feeling of a getting a sweet deal on a Poly Tech. Feels good don't it?

It does feel good getting a good deal on a great AK. Now I have to decide what to get next (other than goodies for the Poly).

Now, if I could just keep my friends from drooling on it!
