We discussed it a year ago she said ok,, I asked her today she said sure it's fine, I can get 200k coverage @ $115/month...

Will I have any legal problems collecting?
She's 100% competent, sane, and everything..

Please advise me, oh wise ones.



AND PS: Don't make any wisecracks I will not try to hurt her, ever, I love my grandmother and care the world for her just like the rest of my family!

She's so bent on making sure my mother and all of us are taken care of, she loves the idea, cause I can start businesses and make sure we are well off.
She's wasted 100s of 1000s and this will make her feel alot better about herself, because she's that kind that cares only what she can do for us, not what she can do for herself.

I am not a slimy turd for have the sense to plan a way for us all to be taken care of, I am a wise man. Asshole.

My mother had a stroke in 1996 she will never find gainful employment, do you think I want to end up working a job all my life to take care of her?

Seriously folks I need advice on what kind of policy to buy, where to get it, everything..
I am prepared to pay as much as $500/month premiums and would like around $200 preferably $500,000 coverage..

If granny is in her late 50's to late 60's, and lives another 20-30 years AND you sluff off on making the monthly premium payments...you just flushed ALL that money away.

If you have money to invest, invest in a 401K.
Talk to a financial planer & start investing.
You might be able to retire in your early 50's & live large after rolling over into an IRA.
Or even if you put part of that amount into US bonds, if you just couldn't keep it up because of unemployment or a pregnant wife, at least you'd still have your money.
Now IF granny is on a respirator with emphysema with spots on her lungs & smoking like a chimney, go for it!

I started actually writing a response on the factors involved in this plan of yours, and how to go about it. But then, I remembered what a shitty plan it is.

If you are serious about doing this (which I doubt) you can easily find a financial planner which could set it up.

But of course, this would require effort which you don't seem to have.

Lastly, it seems that unsuccessful people who are just given free money seldom seem to become successful because of it. They just blow all the money on expensive hookers and crack cocaine.

I am serious about this, and am ready to put plenty of effort into it.

She is 75, looks like I can get coverage for $100/month per $100k

She doesn't have any health problems aside from being fat as hell and blood pressure meds (which were factored in my quotes I got)

The important part though is she has no will to live, she wants to die, and when old people WANT TO, THEY DO, we all know this.

Don't say I aint serious and don't say I am a scumbag.. This will give her piece of mind knowing she's going to be able to make sure everyone is taken care of. She spent her whole life trying to make sure of that and they wasted everything she gave them, 100s and 100s!

I cannot think of any other member, no matter how disagreable their opinions are, that can be described as an outright troll, except for this fredsanford user. If he were serious he'd be on some financial discussion forum. This guy makes a complete joke of the gunsnet forums and the admins who run it. If the rules aren't applicable in this case, then I guess we are gonna let this guy have free advertising of his business? My guess is that the admins would leave a flame trail as fast as they would move to ban him then. Guess some rules were just made to be broken. My wife sells Life insurance with Liberty National and said that as long as your grandmother is willing to sign the policy and make you the beneficiary and meets the requirement put forth by the Insurance company it dont matter who pays the monthly payment as long as it is up to date if you dont pay it on time evey month and something happens your out of a good bit of money if you have any more questions on insurance feel free to ask hope this helps:cool:

Can you help me get a good deal on 100k-500k coverage?
Lowest I've found is $100 per month per $100k coverage..
I was thinking about going with $350k coverage and then I would take 50k of it to open my smoke shop..
Be very careful, budget the shit, work in auto sales for awhile, within a few months I'd be versed enough to open my own dealership..

This is a guess, but the only thing that makes sense. Ferd racks up thousands of posts on his own, plus many additional tens of thousands of posts from other forum members who come to see the car wreck. High posts look damn good to paying advertisers...

I would equate it to the annoying pop ups that some ISP's bombard you with. It's a real PITA, but someone's getting paid for it.

I believe the difference is that fred is not doing this just to piss off people, the poor boob actually thinks this bit of ghoulish stupidity is a sound plan.

My own dear granny (may she rest in peace), was 4 feet 10 or so of explosively temperamental Irishwoman and suggesting something this wretched to her would've been more than your life was worth (even if any of us had been so morally bankrupt as to come up with it in the first place, which, of course, being raised as humans rather than coyotes, we weren't).

I would do anything to prolong her life, policy or not, I have lost loved ones, they died.
my best friend is in prison for 20 yrs and my wife left me and my mom aint the same person since her 1996 stroke.
