I am considering buying a glock 31 or 32. Was wondering if anyone had the compensated model. I want to know the advantages and the disadvantages of the compensated model. The guy a the store told me there is only a $20.00 difference in the price. I would also like to know if there is a big difference in the recoil.

the flames in the front are a big difference...its a little louder and the recoil is somewhat a little less...the regular model non compensated should be good enough...how much is the gun? i get my glocks from john@glockstop.com

hit him up...i send all my friends to him and i buy all of my glocks from him as well as get my other guns transferred through him...

good luck on your quest! either way...glocks are excellent guns...

I have a G17 and a friend of mine is a C3 dealer nd he installed a device on my gun to test at the range, and at time I had installed a ported barrel. When that dam gun went FA, it looked like a fire breathing dragon and the noise was horrible. I would not recommend even if used in semi, plus you loose velocity.;)

I went ahead and got the 32 C anyway. I put about 200 rounds through it and I really like the gun. As mentioned before it was very loud, but that did'nt bother me beacuse I was wearing hearing protection. The loss of velocity does not bother me either because I don't plan to carry it for protection. I bought the gun to take to the range and shoot. I also wanted to add a glock to my small, slow growing collection.

I was told to be careful with the compensated glock as the jet of gas can injure others up to 14 feet (or something like that).

I guess someone was doing combat training lying on their side (like in the Matrix :))

Thanks for the info ak_wannabe. Don't think it will be a problem with me because I don't plan on rolling around on the ground and shooting.

ah don't worry about it, there will be lots of other times to go shoot. Come to think of it I'm not sure I want to go to the range with you remember what happened the last time? I will let you go it you promise to stay away from my guns with any of your muzzle breaks. Now we can talk about the time you swore up and down for 2 weeks that you were going to go but were
AWOL. I understand though you would have looked pretty stupid out on the range running around in a skirt because you sure as hell are not wearing pants, but I know who is.
