ive recently got my hands on a bushmaster shorty ak
after dodging snowfall and single digit temps. i managed
to fire 20 rds. thru it. it was VERY loud so i got a blast diverter
that tapco sells for it specificaly . IT WORKS! its still loud
but not nearly as bad i put a tape recorder about 20 yds away
and shot it with and without the diverter it seemed to drop
about 20-25% of the overall volume for ten bucks you cant beat it
