I looks like a Kobra but it looks smaller in size? Anyone know?

Its a trijicon reflex sight
uses radioactive tritium gas to glow in the dark without the need for batteries. pretty expensive and pretty rugged from what I hear.

i thought those sights were called "elbits" (falcon) i've seen other pictures of galils with those sights , and the sight was called an elbit. is it just an israeli made copy of the trijicon then?

No sorry, the elbit is a little different.
Check out the C-More page (http://cmore.com/scout.html) for the american version of that sight, or swing to Small Arms Review (http://smallarmsreview.com/march.htm) for a nifty article on the Israeli deal.
If you are so inclined, you may also want to check out Trijicon's page (http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/parts_new.cfm?categoryID=8) on the sight in question.

Without offending any of you, I'm going to have to say that you are wrong. The sight is the Meprolight Reflex Sight, and I believe it is made in Israel and used by the IDF. It is similar to the ACOG Reflex, but it has a 30mm tube whereas the Reflex has a 24 mm tube. I looked at one at the IACP Conference last fall in Minneapolis. They're nice sights, but the amber dot is hard to pick up on certain backgrounds. I think the stock number is something like Mepr-21. If you do a search you can find quite a bit more information on them. I've seen them for about $280-300.
