Did a little unofficial comparison with Aim and FAC. Got a shooter grade Yugo from AIM. Far, far better than I expected. Cleaned a little cosomoline. No farther work needed. Shiney barrel--good lands & grooves, a few dings in the wood. Love it!
Ordered two more. One had filthy barrel--little cosomoline. Barrel shined up great (after hard scrub). Wood OK--few dings. Love it!
All $109.95 shipped. All test fired perfect.
2nd had shiny barrel. Rest as the above. Love it!
Got my FAC today. $109.95 + shipping = about $121.00 + or - (gotta check). Came with sling and ammo pouch.
Bore crisp and shiny. Wood real tacky (shellac or ?). Top gas tube very loose--- (may not cycle--test in am--will edit post). Aw hell. Gonna open door and test now--wait a minnit (lol).
Well, waddya know! She cycled perfect! Hmmmm. Love it.
Summary would dictate, though Aims were PERFECT shooter grades and better looking than FACs, I don't think there is not much more difference since FAC Yugos had some extras. I'd rather have AIMs' great shooters without extras.
Gotta add: I love AIM over all! You guys are GREAT!
