Here are some pics of the FAL in use. Most of these are pics of the Rhodesian Light Infantry (RLI) from the war in Rhodesia. I found these from our own timkel who is letting me use them. Thanks timkel!:D

Note the hole cut in the mag well. This was a foreign contract rifle supplied to the Rhodesians and the crest removed to hide the donor ID. Typical RLI with Fireforce vest. I printed this one out and have it hanging over my computer desk.

IIRC, this is a Nigerian peacekeeper returning fire in the Ivory Coast. See the brass flying?

111 Days in Stanleyville by David Reed is another good read. It deals with the hostage situation in Stanleyville, Congo during the early 60's.
