Just read in the Shotgun news, and saw an ad for a side scope mount for the 1919a4!
Ever wonder what the three threaded holes on the rear sight base on the left side of the M1919a4 were for? Well, the Army experimented with both scope and night sights but these only made it into the field on a very limited basis apparently. In any event, I.M.A. has obtained just one of these scope rails and had it replicated. These accept standard one inch adjustable scope rings. Upgrade your 1919 by adding this very rare accessory. Each new made scope rail comes complete witnh securing bolts ready to install. 29.95.
Page 67. Looks like I am going to mount a scope on my A4!! Now only to find a bore sighter!!
Cool, now I will feel better about taking it deer hunting!
