I just purchased a new looking Bulgarian SA-93 from an individual. I don't know anything about the SA-93. Along with the rifle I got 500 rounds of 7.62x39 and four 30 round mags. All for $350. Did I get a good deal or have I wasted my money?

An excellent deal! I paid quite a bit more for mine not long ago, but have been happy with it regardless.
It's a milled receiver -- very nice quality, very tight, very accurate (as AKs go). The finish on it is somewhat cheesy, but it's not too expensive to parkerize if it bothers you.

Wasted your money.....hell no!!!! As long as it's in decent shape, you got a steal, considering most market prices on AKs these dayz. The Bulgarian SA and SLR are superior postban AKs (quality of parts, accuracy, fit and finish, etc)...and regularly go for $500 and much higher. You also got the mags, that just sweetens the pot even furhter!!!! http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif
