Difference in receivers???

If I got a RPK parts kit could I use a Ak stamped receiver. Or is there a difference in the receivers of an Ak & RPK. Seems with a thicker and longer barrel a RPK would be more accurate than an Ak. I have built an Ak from a parts kit and ohio ordanance receiver (stamped type) before with no problems.

Yes there is a difference in receivers the RPK has a thicker trunnion than an AK (I found out the hard way) I think you should File down the trunnion or just replace it with a AK Trunn.
