Hello, My question is relating to the type of threads that a Norinco NHM91 has and therefore the best muzze brake, I was thinking the ak-74 type brake, any recomondations? And my other question is what the best scope mount is and the quality of USSR optics, many thanks, Dr. GonzoINC.

The muzzle has 14x1 LH threads, as for the muzzle device I would think that a chinese rpk brake would be appropriate, but to each his own. That's why I own multiple muzzle brakes, so I can change it up when I get bored. Don't know about the scopes.

Look under accessories & tools.
The "correct" muzzle brake would be the RPK type muzzle brake but any brake threaded for 14x1mmLH will fit.
There is no "correct" scope mount as none were imported for the Chinese RPK. The only Chinese detachable scope mount imported is on the same page as the RPK muzzle brake.
Any of the Russian AK type side rails and scope mounts will work.
As far as Russian scopes go I have a couple of the Pilad VOMZ 4x32's,a Pilad 3.5x24,and a NO 4x24M. All are clearer than the low-medium priced Tasco,Bushnell, and Simmons scopes I own. Comparing the VOMZ 4x32 to a Tasco and Bushnell 4x32 scopes and a Simmons 3-9x32 set on 4x while reading licencee plates on cars 100 yards down the street a real difference can be seen. The VOMZ is the clearest and just before sundown a really big difference can be seen between the VOMZ and the other scopes.
