I bought this front sight adjusting tool from this company not too long ago. The item was about $8.99 and shipping was about $7. (rip off shipping and handling price) I forgot the company's name but when I got the thing...did exactly like the instructions said, and the tool was bend as I screw it tigher to adjust my sight. It broke in half....and my sight didn't even budge...what a PIECE of SHIT....waste of money.

Anyone know where I can get a good front sight adjustment tool?
I haven't attempt Linx tutorial yet...but might have to...

Front sight posts some times get painted,rusted or just froze in place and possibly may bend or break the tool. I have bent my tool trying to get it to move the first time. I ended up soaking the pin with penetrating oil and pounding it back and forth with a large punch and hammer untill it started to move. Once it broke free the sight tool worked.

I would contact the business and ask them to replace the defective part if you can remember where you got it from.
Tapco sells them for about what you stated, or you may want to post a request on the "wanted" or the "accessories" forum to get one from one of the members.
