Talk me down guys...FAL build or ????

OK, got back into town this evening. I was expecting an email from Dan's regarding the shipment of my kit I ordered last week. It was delayed in shipping because I wouldn't be home when it arrived.

Dan sent an email advising it wouldn't be here until after I left and he would hold off until he heard from me. I responded the same day to hold shipping it until I could be here, IOW the end of this week. As of this evening no shipping info, no charges on my account. I get the feeling we may have had a miscommunication. No harm, no foul.:D

Now, this looks to be the last of my "fun" money until I get back to work so I need to make it count. If the order was never processed should I go ahead and re-order or just reconfigure the FAL I already have built into the new one I want (much more cost effective, but not a new smokepole;))?

There's a lot I need to get up and running around here: 10/22 project, new bbl and furniture for the Stevens No17 (converting to .22LR from .25RF) not to mention feeding the beasties already in the safe.

IMO get the kit. They are running out everywhere so I don't think you can go wrong with having it even if you sit on it for a year or two.

I second getting the kit. Even if you have to wait a while to gather more cash to complete the project at least it will be in your inventory, and not somebody else's.

Got a hold of Dan yesterday and found out it had not shipped. As of yesterday afternoon I was told it went out yesterday.

nah, we arent addicted AWP.........I am trying to decide weather to get a couple more FAL kits or a 1919 kit......I third the motion on getting yourself a kit......
