Just ordered a SLR100 from CDNN.Called them to order a post ban Poly and Matt talked me into a SLR100. They are not advertised in their SGN Add ,so I was surprised to hear they had them.I was told that they are made from "ALL NEW" parts. That's what he said, "ALL NEW" parts not a parts kit on a new milled receiver.CDNN has always been straight with me so I took a chance. It will be here Tue.I'll let you know then. Anyone else bought one of these? He did say they had vintage Russian AK47 wood. They are selling for $429.00(dealer).Thanks,

Who builds the slr100 rifle? Gordon Tech? I wonder if it really is all new.

How could they not be "Parts Kits" rifles if they are Bulgarian receivers with Russian Stocks? I wouldn't think the Bulgarians would be assembling their rifles with Russian Wood? Also, if these rifles have pistol grips then they must also contain at least 6 US parts (and I know the Bulgarians don't manufacture rifles with our parts in them). These must be parts guns.

My main question would be if the stock set is the only used parts on the gun? It does not matter to me if they use some American made parts for legality (as long as they are heat treated properly). It would not be the first time a product is made using parts of different origins. You probably don't have to go any further than many American made automobiles. I must say that the guy that told you the gun was of all new parts (except the stocks), was probably mistaken.

Got bumped off line 3 times sinc started this post, got to make it short.Kalasnikov, I guess he could be mistaken but I don't think so. I've been dealing with Matt and CDNN for over six years and they never steered me wrong. Of couse always a first time.At the very least I hope it is one of the good ones like what Mike@MSC makes.I'll know soon enough. Thanks,

You know Mike stoped making these a few months ago! I know he made his for Classic Arms and Goron Tech still makes there`s for Classic also. So if you call Classic ask for either of those guys rifles.

Actually guys, the ones made by Gordon Tech and Mike at MSC for Classic and Tennessee Guns, are built up by using used surplus parts kits on new milled Bulgarian receivers. G-Tech thinks they are a good gun for the money, but used parts are definetly being used.

Don't forget that CDNN is the END OF THE LINE for a lot of products that have been CLOSED OUT by other distributors.

It is one of the reasons their prices are often pretty good.

Valment is right! CDNN does this and there the ones that bought all of Global`s 20rd hungarian mags. Hmmm I wonder if these are the guys that bought all those smooth side plastic mags Progressive had?

Hey AKPatriot-

It's Tuesday and we're still waiting for the word. Did you get your rifle and what shape is it in.

Hey Galil, Yeah I got it, but and it has some used parts as all the others advertised at Tenn. Gun Classic arms etc. I can understand why Matt at CDNN thought it was all new parts except for the wood.It looks like all new parts except for the wood . And the wood looks like crap. I had a stock set from Classic on hand and I'm changing out the wood. Then it will look like all new parts.By the way it is made by G-Tech as I had hoped.I don't know if all CDNN's milled AK's are made by them but I still feel at $429.00 it was a good buy.I'll call Matt and let him know that they are not all new, but are fine AK's in their own right without a false build-up.I'll try to shoot it this weekend if I'm not working.Hope this helps someone thinking about buying one. Thanks,
