Just about how much is a 1942 German Luger worth? It's in good shape and I am accurate enough to hit a bowling pin at 50 yds. freestanding with it. But that took some time to master.:D

Sharp Shooter2, you would need to determine which specific Luger variant you have first. If it is of German manufacture from the WWII-era then it may be made by either Mauser or Krieghoff. You'll need to note all the nomenclature on the frame, barrel and toggle. Also, is your Luger chambered in 7.65x21mm or 9x19mm? Knowing this will go a long way in determining exactly what you have and it's possible value.
