ok, I have searched but cannot find...
I just got one of the Milled AKs from Classic Arms, and it is stamped "Blue Ridge" on the bottom. Can anyone tell me about this firm?....it is a very impressive piece of work.

Blue Ridge is a machinist firm and licensed manufacturer. He has made AKs for several "names" in the business.

1911a1,
Yes, complete, and OUTSTANDING is the only way to describe it! Fit, Finish everything! The only thing I know to compare it to is one of the Poly Legends! All of the serial #'s from the match, I got it from Classic, and would definately do it again!

I got an SLR 100H that was stamped Blue Ridge, so I assume they assembled the gun. Gun looks nice, but I have not had the chance to take it out and shoot it or disasemble it and check everything out. I got mine from Arms Depot on an auction, but they also sell them on www.gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com)and www.gunsamerica.com (http://www.gunsamerica.com) The stock is nice and has the normal dings and dents but no splits, looks really good as is, but maybe a little short for me. I could try to post a picture if anyone is interested, but I think most of the SLR 100's are about the same.
