I just got one in today. I ordered it mostly for the bolt/carrier group to use in the chopo I bought that came with a ground bolt. I wanted a few spare parts as well.

"Salvagable" parts is what I'd call it. I don't think I'd want to build a rifle out of this kit. Well used would be an understatement. A lot of light rust/patina under an oily film on just about everything. The wood parts look fair with no major gouges. The butt stock might actually look pretty good once refinished, but the metal housing it's attached too is el crapo with the rod even appearing slightly bent. The barrel looks fair. At least it's not pitted.

All I can say is I hope the bolt parts still have some life left in them otherwise this kit will turn into an expensive boat anchor.

You'd be surprised what a bead blast and a park and guncoat finish can do to make stuff look new.

I stripped it apart last night. Found significant rust just below the wood line on the cocking tube. Caught just in time as it's not too deep. The bore is a little frosted, but is cleaning up well. The recoil spring tube is bent and about ready to break away from the butt stock housing. If used again it will need to be replaced.

The bolt/carrier looks ok. Hopefully I'll have some time to clean it up tonight and swap it out with the one in my number 2 chopo.

I agree Shuetz, a blasting and refinish will do a miracle job on most of these parts.
