Got one of these today too. It's a 6 part US compliance kit that includes FSE fire control parts, an FSE pistol grip, a Tapco charging handle, and a DC Industries gas piston.

Everything looks real good. Quality made parts in new condition. My only negative comments (you know I have to nit pick over something) are:

1. I don't care for the FSE pistol grip in that it has the groove cut into it allowing the selector knob to rotate fully to the unused "auto" position. I wasn't planning on using this part right now anyway, but might use it on a later build. The US pistol grip that I had included with my Imbel kit from Dan's is more to my liking and is the same type included on the Imbel M444 FALs.

2. The Tapco charging handle looks real nice and is very, very light. EXC black finish. A quality made piece IMO. Too bad they had to stamp "TAPCO.COM USA" in big letters on the outward side of it though. :( While I think it's good to have these parts US marked, I think they could be a little more discreet, especially for those us us trying to build an "authentic" looking FAL.

That has come up more than once. Over on the FAL Files we've tried to get them to stamp it on the underside, but no joy I guess.

Any comments Tony@TAPCO?

The charging handles from gunthings (Schnider machine) do not have the markings on the outside.

The DSA U.S. handles are completely unmarked. As far as the selector goes DSA has a semi auto selector that looks identical to the FN type C selector. I know what you mean when you say you are trying to build an authentic looking G1. Fortunately many STG58 parts are identical to G1 parts.

For now we are going to keep it the same.
