I have a Bushmaster Varminter w/ 24" fluted barrel that I am trying to find the right scope for. I have a scope in mind if I choose to go with a traditional reticle. That would be a Weaver Grand Slam. I think my Weavers are brighter and have better clarity than my Leica and Leupold VXIII's.
Anyway, I am considering a rangefinding reticle of some kind. The scopes I am considering are the following:
Burris Ballistic Plex
Shepherd Scope
Springfield
Any thoughts or experiences on any of these scopes, or should I stick with a standard reticle? All opinions welcome.
