It took just over a month to the day to arrive, but I must say it was worth the wait. Ordered their Izzy stock set (butt stock and hanguards), new butt plate, and new carry handle. The stock set was the one advertised as new, but with minor storage dings.

Well, they are completely unblemished and about as perfect as you can get! Not a ding or scratch anywhere. Same with the other parts. New, greasy, and ready to rock and roll. I love the metal work on the handguards. They're going to look mean on this build.

Added:
All that I lack now is a set of FSE fire control parts, a US gas piston, and a US muzzle break (unless I chop the barrel treads).

Of course I'm still waiting on the receiver (me and 10 billion other guys:rolleyes:

The stock and handguards were $59.95. $9.95 for the carry handle, $18 for the butt plate, and $1.50 for the butt plate screw.

The sling swivel and handguard spacers I got from Gunthings. I believe Sarco has the swivel. Not sure about the spacers.

I also got the HG spacers and sling swivel from gunthings. The spacers are OK, although I believe way overpriced for what they are. The reproduction sling swivel sucks, though, IMHO. The screws included were flat head phillips head - basically looks like they picked them up in the local hardware store. I've never seen a phillips head screw used.... A flat head screw is supplied, but the plate holding the sling swivel on is flat - meaning that the screw head sticks up like this (ignore the dots, the board strips out whitespace):
.__.
.\./.
----

I made a jig to bend the plate around the hole (create a recess for the screw to fit flush), as I believe it is supposed to be. The screws still looked ugly though. I believe they should be slotted oval heads.

Anyway, in the meantime, an order I had from TAPCO came it. They had a sale on an inch lower with buttstock & hardware for $15 at the time, so I picked one up. I found that the sling swivel on that buttstock fit the izzy. The plate was recessed, as I thought it should be (and did myself on mine) and used slotted, oval head screws. Unfortunately, it looks like they are out of this now. Last month's catalog has the same retaining plate listed for $2.99 on page 11, but I can't find it on their site by name, category, or item#.

For the cost of the swivel kit, you should get better, more correct screws than the $.05 each ones you could pick up at any hardware store, and the retaining plate should be already bent to the proper contour so the screws fit right.

I haven't gotten that far on mine to look at the swivel parts. That sucks big time because these were pretty expensive for what you're getting.

Looks like yet another part I'm going to have to fiddle with to make right.
