G1 FAL Parts Kit
The legendary G1 FAL parts kit is finally available in the U.S.! The rifles used as the source for
these kits were manufactured in Belgium by FN and sold on an exclusive contract to the West
German military and police. This means the parts are true metric and made by the original
designer of the famous FAL rifle.
Included: two magazines, wood buttstock; wood or plastic pistol grip (our choice); metal
handguards; bipod and quick detach flashhider. Condition of parts is good. No receiver
included. Caliber .308. No FFL Required.

You sure? Harlan posted on falfiles that they were all out a couple of weeks ago. They don't exactly always keep their website up to date as there is no online ordering.

Don't know Zou. I'll let everybody know when I get back from Knob Creek, DSA has 2 booth / table setups there.

I've never ordered anything from DSA myself, but they do have a good rep. Add up the extras they throw in, and they aren't that much more than FAC's and TAPCO's price (when they had them). Gunthings also still has some with a couple of different (minor)furniture options for $125-130. They also have a good rep, although I was not impressed with their reproduction izzy swivel, as you can read in the izzy furniture post below. They did have quick service, however, and only charged actual shipping to me. Interordnance also still has some left, but as many here are already aware, their rep isn't so good.... Apparently the G1 kits they are selling as new are merely reparked. Who knows what inventory levels are at this point, though. I'd wager everyone is getting pretty low at this point, get em while you can, where you can...

When it says restricted, are we still allowed to build rifles out of them?

Yeah - in order to get the form 6 approved for barrels or receivers, the importer needs to sign an affadavit saying they will be for replacement use only. However, there is no law against it, and you made no such agreement, so you as the end user can do anything you want. The importer themselves or their agents would be unable to build new rifles with them, however, since they willingly entered into that agreement with the gov. I suppose it could be said that you implicitly entered into that agreement when purchasing them, but then that is a matter between you and the seller and not you and the government. More of a CYA thing than anything else, I think. Perhaps the agreement they entered into also requires them to advertise as such.

I've ordered parts for my FAL build from them on different occasions. They've been helpful and prompt each time.

I talked with Bruce at FAC this morning and they are definately out of FAL kits of any gender except the STG58's. I was going to throw a G-1 on my order as filler but they didnt have any. They even had to backorder my FSE pistol grip......:(

DSA had G-1 kits at Knob Creek. $125 for unfinished ones and $179 for refinished ones. Don't know if they sold out or not, thinking not. Give them a call.

You didn't know I was going? I put a post up about it asking who else was going. ;) Seriously, I did.
It turned out fine, sunny on Thursday when I got in mid afternoon. Sunny all day Friday and Sat. Got up to 80°F Sat. was almost hot. It had rained for a week prior to that so it was wet and they let them shoot tracers and API rounds during the day time. If dry only at night so they can see the fires and go put them out quick! Mucho guns, over priced mags and ammo except at Coles Distributing.
Got myself 2 CETME's and 1 walnut stocked K31 when I went to AIM. Truck was full and sagging on the way back!
