Well got my grade III Imbel kit from Dan's today. Finish is well worn on most of it and the hand guards and buttstock have some scratches but am well happy with what I got. Sent them a money order last friday shipping was quick. Hope they have some more next week when I get paid or it is off to ebay or a few other sites that got a fairly big shippment in.


One question for anyone that has done bussiness with Dan. Is the locking shoulder suppose to be with the kit or is that left out?

I would give him a call right now but know how busy they are and figured I would ask here first.

Damm can't wait to get started refinishing this bugger and get her built.

I think I read that Dan's isn't accepting orders for Imbel kits anymore. Also, I believe the locking shoulder pin should be in the kit. Give them a call.

I had to beat mine out of the small chunk of receiver they sent with my kit.

FWIW, most people don't recommend to take a hammer to the LS due to the amount of stress it is under when firing. Usually recommended to press it out (and in) - a vise should work fine for this.
