Dumb question

Just what part of the locking shoulder do I measure ?
Yeah I know I need to get a book or something on building an FAL but all the stuff I keep ordering is takeing all my money.

it is the thickness of the flat part.......

You measure the overall circumference at the flat part on the bottom of the shoulder in the photo.(The narrow flat part)

I'll find the locking shoulder in one of the cut pieces of the receiver right? I think I've identified what it is. I was getting paranoid that I didn't have them
