Does anybody know a good source for RPK stocks (individual stock or set is ok too)? I'm getting an NHM91 (on the way), should I have a problem attaching the stock to it with the correct# of US parts? Or, is the rear of the reciever some funky shape that'll keep me from doing it?

K-Var has the best prices and availability on the Russian Laminate stock sets. They will require significant fitting. The Chinese receiver walls are thicker than the Russian, so you'll need to do a bunch of sanding to get it to fit. Plus the lower handguard will be a bit too long, and need significant sanding (hope you have a Dremel) to get to fit right.

I just saw Chinese RPK buttstocks for sale at www.saarmfg.com . This would eliminate most fitting but they were expensive if I recall. The Chinese RPK uses the same handguards as their standard AK and these are not too hard to find.
You will need 5 US parts, 6 if you what something on the muzzle. My NHM91 had a threaded barrel with a nut on it that was held on by a non movable retainer. I had no idea if theis was US or Chinese and I had to have something over the threads. I used a Russian stock and handguards, so I had to come up with 6 US parts. They are the pistol grip (K VAR, soon to be replaced with a Z-recto), gas piston (Tapco), hammer (RSA), trigger (RSA), disconnector (RSA) and muzzle nut (Global Trades).
