I'm reading over at 1919a4.com and I have some confusion already. I understand you have to drill the holes. No problem.

It appears you have to mill out the sideplate for the internal semi parts. Is that correct? What's involved with "milling"? Is this something I can find a shop around here to do? What savings am I trying to achieve vs. buying a 100% plate? Thanks.

IIRC TAPCO's sideplate is already milled and just need to have the holes drilled.

Amost all 80% plates are fully milled. What varies is how many of the holes need drilling and countersinking.
The internals will have to be machined when you get them to match the raised section on the plate.
BTW I have the blueprints for the holes if anybody wants a copy,I'll scan and send via email, you wouldn't be able to make it out posted on here.
Shoot me an email or a PM with your email if you want them.
