Picked up a Polish Tok yesterday. Nice pistol except the safety and the grips.

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the safety, weld the holes and grove up, and reblue the pistol? The pistol that I have has a few scratches that would not hurt wit the re-blue.

Also, does anyone know where to pick up a set of grips? Polish or Russian? Extra mags and holsters?
Thanks

there is no doubt it can be done, but..........it will probably cost you more then what the pistol is worth, to have it done right. of course there is always J-B WELD :D

Will JB Weld take a blue like Brownells OxyBlue? The way I look at it the pistol is going to stay in the collection and I would love to do w/o the safety and the left over holes.

I was only joking about the J-B WELD........if you want to see if it takes bluing, then put some on a piece of metal and try to blue it.

I figured you were joking about the JB! The way I see it, the amount that I have into the pistol and a nice fix-em-up job would make me happy--but that is the way I am.
Thanks
