Select PMKMS Parts Kit

I just got my Polish PMKMS Parts Kit. I ordered a select kit (unfired kit). The inside of the barrel looks good. The bolt carrier and bolt are not parkerized. Just the exposed metal. However, the finish of the painted parts are very worn. The magazine is a used magazine. The sling and pouch are used and dry soaked with oil. So they are used too. But as far as the kit goes, I really can't tell if this rifle has been fired or not. Does any one know if I do have an unfired kit? I don't know if the accesories are a good clue. :confused:

Look at the Chamber face and see if you see any wear on it . the bolt carrier slamming into it will leave wear marks. I got a Bulgarian parts kit from F.A.C. that the kit was un fired. The blue was not so much as scratched on the Barrel Chamber face! :) No soot inside the Gas Chamber or Gas hole in the Barrel when I put a pipe cleaner into it!:D

OK, I looked in the front of the chamber. I could not see any wear marks. I looked inside the gas chamber, Barrel and gas tube. I could not find any wear there either. However I did find alot of wear on the end of the recoil spring assembly. The part that you would use to lock and unlock the receiver cover. So I am still a little confused. I just wish I could be positive either way. I am not going to worry about it too much. Thanks for your help.:p
