Saiga .223 question

I just bought a new saiga .223 ak, and had a couple of questions. The guy where I bought it said it would be possible to use bananna clips if they were filed down a bit. First, has anyone ever done this and could explain how to, and what brand of magazine would I have to get? This isn't very important, but there's something about the look of an AK with a bananna clip that I love. Thanks for the help

ok first if you put a 30 rd mag in your gun now it would be illegal you need to change at least 5 parts of you gun to 5 US made parts and add a feedramp contact Mark Krebs at krebs custom firearms and he could help you he does the convertion to rifles
