I ordered this last Saturday (actually, my fiance ordered it for me as a birthday present) and recieved it last Wednesday. I didn't inspect it until yesterday though.

For the most part the ammo seems like it will be functional. However, in two of the bandoliers the ammo was about half damaged, some cartridges very mangled. I'm taking pictures of it tonight to post here for you to see. One round has a case that is completely flattened. Looks like someone hit it with a hammer.

Do you guys inspect all of the ammo? Some of these rounds appeared completely and totally unsafe to fire, and I cringe at the thought of me throwing a clip without looking at each round into my Garand, which I almost did.

AIM has always done me right in the past (ordered ammo before as well as a great 2002 SAR-1) and I won't hold it against you guys, especially considering that most of the ammo is useable.

We really do not get to inspect every round. Sorry your ammo was damaged. Call Chris toll free 888-748-5252, He will take care of you.
Thanks,
Erik

Erik,

I figured it would be impossible to inspect each round of ammo. That would be entirely too tedious.

Thank you very much for your response and I will call Chris later this afternoon.

I appreciate your honest and fair business practices. AIM Surplus is, in my opinion, the best business of it's kind out there.

Thank you
