I though I would put up a pic of some of my blade collection. No one that lives around here is into blades so I don't get a chance to show them so I thought I would share them here.:cool:

I take it those German daggers are repros? My father-in-law has one that he brought back from WWII. As a matter of fact he has quite an assortment of bayonets brought back as well.

The black combat knife to the far right looks similar to a K-bar. I had a pair of those a number of years back. Still got one. Traded the other for a bunch of M16 mags, mag pouches, and a few other parts.

The SS dagger,Lufawafa, army,and the political officer are repros but the two on the right next to the H. Youth aren't, they are "parts put togethers". If you will look close the swtickas are broken off and the Luffwafa has the wrong promal. I have two SS dager blades and hardware but no handles, parts are getting so high anymore its hard to finish them. All the rest of them are origanals and yes the marine fighting knife is a ka-bar.:D

Nice collection. Your photo reminds me I should take a pig photo of all the bayonets I have. I really don't collect them, but I feel that the battle rifle needs to have it to be a complete item in my collection. Because of this attitude I have a defacto bayonet collection as a result of acutally collecting the arms vs. the blades.:D

You have a very interesting collection.
I have an example of the 6th one from the left, a dress, nickel plated etched decorated blade. It has the sheath with a patent leather frog.
My uncle brought it back from Europe where he was a cook in the Army.
I was an salesman on the road years ago and also got a number of various bayonetts when they sold in surplus stores for a few dollars each. I miss those days.
