Does anyone know if there are any real, ie not converted from semi-autos, AK-47s, AKMs, or AK-74s out there? I'm talking about legal fully transferable MGs, not dealer samples, or something someone has kept in their closet for years.
Yes, there are fully automatic, fully transferable AK-47's that are original, not conversions. All of the ones that I've seen have been 'amnesty' guns--basically all were Viet Nam bring-backs. The first fully automatic AK that I ever shot was a true Russian Milled AK-47, probably made in the early to late 50's. It was a 'Nam bring back. They are out there, and they bring a premium price. I believe that several of the larger Class 3 dealers could set you up with one, as you see them advertised for sale from time to time.

Converted semi's can be had ranging from $5000 to $7000. And they are asking $9500 for fullauto Krink's., so figure an inflated premium to those prices. If i remember right, I saw a war trophy on one of the NFA boards with a $10K asking price.
Prices on originals vary greatly, depending on condition, documentation of use, etc...
I've seen two in the last couple of years that sold, one for $12,400, and one for $15,300. I believe that one was an original Korean (I think), and one was definitely a Russian AK-47.

unlike the FAL except early ones that came in
unlike AR15's, the AK47 Simi's that were brought here ARE real AK47's ive shot Fully
Auto's in the Army. hungairians models stamped they are the same except for internals witch been converted to simi only
the structer and everything is the same even MAK90's are real AK47's not just manufactured Simi auto's, i really believed they were made from the same machinry has there military counterparts except for some models put together here those are excluded but like the bulgarians and hungarians, egypt etc! eastern blocks don't have that kindof money to spare to JUST set up for us! i do know there are export models but i still believe everything's things the same.
if you look hard for markings etc you can get the same rifle.
