I ordered my VEPR K 7.62x39 during the first week of January.
Now, the second week of May, it's finally in my hands.
This is my first AK and I'm just amazed at the craftmanship. The owner of the gunshop couldn't believe how beautiful it was - he wants one for himself now. Everything looks great - no canted sights (my biggest concern). We're having a lot of rain in my area right now and I haven't been able to shoot it yet. So I keep taking it out of the case and handling it - taking it apart and checking to make sure it's clean (of course I already know that it is from taking it apart six times ago). <Sigh>
Can't wait to shoot this baby...
